I have been the District Administrator here since January 2011. I came here from the Arlington Independent School District where I worked for ten years and was the secretary to the Assistant Superintendent of Technology.

My husband Jim and I live at Lake Palo Pinto. We moved here from Arlington, five years ago when he retired for the City of Arlington with twenty years of service. Jim is currently a Deputy for the Palo Pinto County Sheriff’s Department. We have two grown children. Our daughter, Stacey is a senior at Tarleton State University in Stephenville. Jeffery, our son graduated from Santo High School in May 2011 and is currently working in Lake City, Co.

When not at work we love doing things as a family and enjoying the great outdoors.

Welcome to the North District! You'll notice that our logo is a growing tree, one that is reaching out. I imagine it reaching out to the world beyond our local congregations, our district, and our annual conference. We have been transformed into the North District. Previously we were part of four other districts: Fort Worth, Mid-Cities, Waxahachie, and Weatherford. It just seemed like this logo calls us to remember that we are to be rooted, and that we need to continue to grow and be transformed by reaching out. Often when I have been asked about my passions in life, I have named that I love growing things - disciples, children, gardens, plants, and even animals.

My husband Ken and I are from Dripping Springs, Texas. Ken is a fourth generation native Austinite. I was born in Albert Lea, MN and was transplanted to Texas when I was about three months old. We left a log home and nine acres of gorgeous Texas hill country, in order to move to the DFW metroplex so that I could attend seminary at Perkins, SMU. Ken works for the Arlington ISD in IT. Our kids are grown. Matthew, lives in Austin and goes to ACC; Erin is a graduate of Texas Women's University and lives in Fort Worth with her talented husband, Beau.

I graduated with my PhD in Family Studies from Texas Woman's University in 2008 and have been blessed to be a participant in the Harvard Kennedy School of Executive Leadership. I've served congregations as pastor in Tarrant, Navarro, and Freestone counties. From 2009-2011 I was DS of the Weatherford District, before the Central Texas Conference realigned and we became part of the newly formed North District.

I love what I do! It is my delight and privilege to serve the people of the North District!
